Theme: Biodiversity and conservation

The main activity that has produced maps, illustrations and other graphic output in the themes of biodiversity, conservation and wildlife is through the GLOBIO programme, and related assessments. This programme quantifies and models the current and future patterns of human impact on ecosystems. Other related subjects under this banner are protected areas, ecosystems and ecology and priorities for conservation. Please refer to the other themes for related issues, or search by geographic region (e.g. Arctic) to narrow down the search.
