Toxic metals in sediments of the Caspian Sea (Arsenic, Mercury and Copper). Sampled sediments in the Caspian Sea show that arsenic is spread out at multiple locations, but primarily on the southern and southwest shores of the Sea, on the shores of Iran and Azerbaijan - where also Copper is accumulated in the sediments. Mercury is concentrated on the Apsheron peninsula of Azerbaijan.
